I became unemployed in March 2009. I worked for an occupational health care company who promoted and supported the good ole boys network. The company was started by two males who went to University. I enjoyed my job, but was bullied by an uneducated female who chose to alienate me behind my back by spreading made up health information. Needless to say I was not promoted,selected for special projects and ultimately demoted. I found out about this bullying by a three different coworkers, one said she was told if you want to keep your job dont talk to this person or you will be fired. Needless to say the female who started all this malicious gossip is still working there, benefits and all. I thought I was doing all the right things, but here in Florida its not the right thing that gets rewarded, it ones ability to spread gossip, partying, drugs or alchohol use.
